Shoe warranty - Rime MTB shoes

I called to ask about getting shoes warrantied that I ordered off of specialized.com. I was told to email my receipt and pictures of the shoes to ridercare@specialized.com for evaluation. I have done so, but haven't heard anything back. Should I expect a response?

Would really like to get this taken care of. I've tried my best to make sure it isn't a break in issue - yet they have tenderized the back of my heel so bad that I can't wear them anymore. This was my 3rd pair of rime shoes - the previous two in same size were flawless.
