What is your frame warranty duration?

My Specialized RockHopper (1996), for which I certainly no longer have the receipt, has a cracked head tube in the same location as your other customer posted above.
It seems like headtubes are a weakness on your bikes that still isn't resolved.

I also have an old Specialized Epic on which the top lug cracked and broke this past summer.

I usually throw a frame out and just replace, but this is 2 out of 2 now. :(

Hi,

Guys, all I have to say is good luck in your efforts to get Specialized to do anything at all that will benefit you as a customer of theirs. They obviously do not need me as a customer as they have chosen to declare my frame damage due to neglect or damage. I have NEVER wrecked my bike and yet still have severe frame damage on the seat tube just above my crank set.

I have chosen to repair my bike and ride it around town since Specialized won't own up to their poor craftsmanship. And I intend to tell my story to as many people as I can.

They have lost a lifelong customer in me, and I am sure that they don't even care. My intent is to sell every Specialized product I have and find something better when I make my next purchase.

Again, good luck to you all.
